Terms of Service

The service
njX Store Monitoring & Uptime (“the app”) is provided by njX (“we”). It checks your storefront the way a shopper uses it, your watched products and the pages a customer can land on, keeps a timeline of what changed in your store, and delivers alerts, a daily products note and a weekly report to the recipients you connect. It never writes to your store and never places an order.
What the app checks, and what it does not promise
- The app reads your public storefront a few times an hour, with a test cart that lives in the cookies of its own request. It stops before any payment step. On Pro and Business a real browser presses Add to Cart on a sensor product once in a while; that browser adds one item to its own cart and is closed with it.
- A check is what the storefront answered at that moment. Stores, themes and third-party scripts change; a storefront may answer differently to different visitors or refuse an automated reader. We cannot promise that every failure is caught, that every check reflects what a customer sees, or that a cause named in an alert is the cause. The incident shows the step, the time and the evidence; the causes are what changed before it, for you to judge.
- Alerts depend on Telegram, Slack, Discord or e-mail; we retry failed deliveries but cannot promise that every message arrives on time.
- The app does not fix what broke, does not change your store and gives no advice on themes, apps or payments. It tells you what broke, when, and where to undo the change.
Your account and your data
- You must have the right to install apps on the store and to share its status with the recipients you connect.
- You remain the controller of your data. We act as your processor: we process it only to provide the app to you. The app has read permissions only, reads no customer field of an order, and has no permission to write to your store.
- Your storefront password, if you give it to the app, is used only to open your storefront for the checks, stored encrypted, and removed when you clear the field or uninstall.
- What the app reads is not sold, not shared, not compared with other stores and not used to train models.
- We process data on Cloudflare (hosting, queues, browser rendering and e-mail), may read a page that refused our robot through Bright Data’s Web Unlocker (the page address only), and deliver messages through Telegram, Slack and Discord when you connect them, each under its own terms.
- Uninstalling the app deletes everything we hold about your store.
- We keep the app secure as described in the privacy policy and notify you within 72 hours of confirming a security incident that affects your data.
Plans and billing
Plans are billed by Shopify under the Shopify App Store terms and appear on your Shopify invoice. Pro starts with 7 free days; paid plans can be paid monthly or yearly. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the Shopify admin at any time; the Free plan has no time limit. Moving down a plan pauses the sensors, products, pages and recipients beyond the new limit and deletes nothing.
Acceptable use
Install the app only on a store you run, give it only your own storefront password, and connect only recipients whose members should see the store’s status. Do not use the app to load pages of another store, to read anything but your own storefront, or to run checks at a rate the app does not offer. We may suspend an installation that abuses the service.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app’s changelog. Questions: [email protected].
