Who we are

njX Competitor Price Watch is operated by njX, an independent developer. Contact: [email protected].

What the app does

It reads the competitor product pages you paste, a few times a day, and shows their prices next to yours. It sends alerts, a daily digest and a weekly report to the channels you connect. It never writes to your store.

What the app reads in your store

• Products and variants: title, SKU, price, compare-at price, product status and whether the product is published. That is how the app knows your price and fills the product picker.
• Nothing else. The app requests only the read_products permission. It has no access to orders or customers, and no permission to write anything.

What the app reads on the pages you link

• Only the pages you paste, on the schedule of your plan (one to six times a day), one site never in parallel. The app names itself in every request — njX-PriceWatch/1.0 (+https://apps.njxui.dev/competitor-watch) — and respects the site’s robots.txt: a page the site asks robots to leave alone is not read.
• How: the public product page and, on Shopify stores, its public product data; where the page builds itself with scripts, a browser renders it. The app never logs in, never fills a form, never follows a link beyond the page.
• What is kept of a page: the price, the crossed-out price, the currency, whether it is in stock, the product title and when it was read. No other content of the page is stored, and no personal data of anyone is read or kept.

Data we store

• Your products and variants, as above, while the app is installed.
• Our own records: the links you added, their readings, the runs of the reader, the findings the rules opened and how they were closed.
• Settings and channels: your thresholds and the hour of the digest; the e-mail addresses, Slack and Discord webhook URLs and Telegram chat ids you add (all stored encrypted and shown masked).
• Logs: which message went where and when, and messages you send through the support form.

How your numbers are used

• Your prices and the prices read for you are used for your shop only: to build your table, your alerts and your digest.
• They are never sold or shared, never shown to the competitors you watch, never compared with other stores, and never used to train machine-learning or AI models.
• We keep a small amount of anonymous operational telemetry — how long a read took, which reader answered, which rule fired — identified by shop domain and used to keep the app healthy.

How long we keep it

• Readings and runs: as far back as your plan looks — 30 days on Free, 90 on Pro, a year on Business and Scale. Closed findings: 90 days. Delivery log: 90 days. Support messages: 12 months.
• Uninstalling deletes everything about your store as soon as Shopify tells us — usually within minutes, always within 48 hours.

Where it runs

The app runs on Cloudflare (Workers, D1, Browser Rendering). E-mail is sent through Cloudflare Email Service; a backup provider (Resend) may deliver a message when the first one is unavailable. Messages to Telegram, Slack and Discord go through their own services under their own terms when you connect them.

Your rights

You can see, change and delete everything the app holds about your store from inside the app, and uninstalling deletes it all. Questions and requests: [email protected].
