The service

njX Promo & Price Watch (“the app”) is provided by njX (“we”). It keeps a snapshot of your products’ prices and your discounts, compares every change against it, and delivers alerts and a daily digest to the channels you add. By installing the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

A watchman, not a safety net

• The app tells you what changed and which of our checks it failed. It never changes anything in your store — the fix is yours to make in the Shopify admin.
• It watches what Shopify shows it. A change Shopify does not report, a change made while the app was uninstalled, or one made before you installed it, is invisible to us — the cleanup report says so in as many words.
• Alerts depend on Shopify’s webhooks and on Telegram, Slack, Discord or e-mail delivering them. We retry a failed delivery and read the whole catalogue again every night, but we cannot promise that every mistake is caught or that every alert arrives, and we are not liable for revenue lost to a wrong price or a wrong discount.
• The thresholds are opinions, not laws: a 50% discount is worth a second look, not proof of a mistake. On Pro they are yours to change, and any rule can be switched off.

Your account and your data

• You must have the right to install apps on the store and to share its prices and discounts with the channels you connect.
• You remain the controller of your data. We act as your processor: we process it only to provide the app to you. From paid orders the app reads the lines only (product, quantity, price, discount); it requests no customer data.
• Your prices and discounts are not sold, not shared, and not used to train models or to build any market or competitor analysis.
• We process data on Cloudflare (hosting and e-mail) and deliver messages through Telegram, Slack and Discord when you connect them, each under its own terms.
• Uninstalling the app deletes everything we hold about your store.
• We keep the app secure as described in the privacy policy and notify you within 72 hours of confirming a security incident that affects your data.

Plans and billing

Plans are billed by Shopify under the Shopify App Store terms and appear on your Shopify invoice. Pro starts with a free trial and can be paid monthly or yearly. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the Shopify admin at any time; the Free plan has no time limit. Downgrading deletes nothing: your channels and history stay, and the plan decides how much is sent and how far back you can look.

Acceptable use

Add only channels whose members should see your prices and discounts, do not use the app to circumvent Shopify’s, Telegram’s, Slack’s or Discord’s terms, and do not try to extract other stores’ data. We may suspend an installation that abuses the service.

Availability and liability

The app is provided as is. We aim for continuous operation but depend on Shopify, Cloudflare, Telegram, Slack and Discord; a delayed or missed alert does not create liability beyond the fees you paid us for the current billing period.
