Terms of Service

The service
njX Catalog Rollback (“the app”) is provided by njX (“we”). It keeps a copy of the fields of your products, writes down every change to them, delivers alerts and reports to the channels you connect, and — on your explicit order, after a preview — writes earlier values back into the fields you chose.
What the app writes, and what it does not promise
- The app writes to your store only what you confirmed in a preview, or what a timer you set points at, and only into the fields it showed you. It never creates or deletes a product, a variant, a picture, a collection or a metafield. Every value is read again right before it is written; a value that moved since the preview is skipped and listed.
- The history starts when the app is installed and covers every product the app can read. We cannot promise that every change is caught: Shopify delivers changes to apps as events, and an event that is delayed, repeated or lost is read in the nightly pass, which sees the result, not every step in between. The app does not know who made a change or by what; the source on a row is a guess from timing and shape.
- A restore writes at the pace Shopify allows, shared with every app you use; a large restore takes minutes. Alerts depend on Telegram, Slack, Discord or e-mail; we retry failed deliveries but cannot promise that every message arrives on time.
- The app does not back up your store, does not restore themes, orders, customers or files, and gives no advice on imports or apps. It puts fields of products back the way they were, after you looked.
Your account and your data
- You must have the right to install apps on the store and to share its catalogue with the channels you connect.
- You remain the controller of your data. We act as your processor: we process it only to provide the app to you. The app reads products only, holds no customer data, and writes only on a restore you confirmed.
- What the app reads is not sold, not shared, not compared with other stores and not used to train models.
- We process data on Cloudflare (hosting, records, text storage and e-mail), and deliver messages through Telegram, Slack, Discord and Google Sheets when you connect them, each under its own terms.
- Uninstalling the app deletes everything we hold about your store.
- We keep the app secure as described in the privacy policy and notify you within 72 hours of confirming a security incident that affects your data.
Plans and billing
Plans are billed by Shopify under the Shopify App Store terms and appear on your Shopify invoice. Pro and Business start with 14 free days; paid plans can be paid monthly or yearly. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the Shopify admin at any time; the Free plan has no time limit. Moving down a plan locks the history beyond the new limit, pauses timers and the channels beyond the new count, and deletes nothing.
Acceptable use
Install the app only on a store you run and connect only channels whose members should see the catalogue’s changes. Do not use the app to run restores at a rate it does not offer or to write values you did not look at. We may suspend an installation that abuses the service.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app’s changelog. Questions: [email protected].
