The service

njX Stock Alerts & Reorder (“the app”) is provided by njX (“we”). It reads your products, stock and sales, estimates how long your stock will last and how much to reorder, and delivers lists and alerts to the recipients you add. By installing the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

Estimates, not promises

• Days of stock and order quantities are estimates worked out from your recent sales and the settings you choose. They are shown as ranges, and each can be opened to see the numbers it was built from.
• The app never places orders and never changes anything in your store. Every purchasing decision is yours. We are not liable for stock-outs, overstock or lost sales that follow from acting, or not acting, on a suggestion.
• The advice can only be as good as the data: untracked or negative stock, missing costs and sales outside Shopify make the numbers wrong. The app’s data-quality check tells you what it found.

Your account and your data

• You must have the right to install apps on the store and to share its product, stock and sales figures with the recipients you add.
• You remain the controller of your data. We act as your processor: we process it only to provide the app to you. We store no customer names, e-mails, addresses or notes.
• Your shop’s numbers are not sold, not shared, and not used to train models or improve forecasts for other stores without your explicit consent.
• We process data on Cloudflare (hosting and e-mail) and deliver messages through Slack and Discord when you connect them, each under its own terms.
• Uninstalling the app deletes everything we hold about your store within 48 hours.
• We keep the app secure as described in the privacy policy and notify you within 72 hours of confirming a security incident that affects your data.

Plans and billing

Plans are billed by Shopify under the Shopify App Store terms and appear on your Shopify invoice. Paid plans start with a free trial. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the Shopify admin at any time; the Free plan has no time limit. Downgrading deletes nothing: the plan decides how many products are forecast and how many recipients receive.

Acceptable use

Do not add recipients who have not agreed to receive the reports, do not use the app to circumvent Shopify’s, Slack’s or Discord’s terms, and do not try to extract other stores’ data. We may suspend an installation that abuses the service.

Availability and liability

The app is provided as is. We aim for continuous operation but depend on Shopify, Cloudflare, Slack and Discord; a delayed or missed list or alert does not create liability beyond the fees you paid us for the current billing period.
