Shopify app · bulk edits in a Google Sheet
Edit the catalog in a Google Sheet. Apply with a preview. Undo in one click.
Export products and variants to a sheet the app creates in your Drive, change them the way you change any spreadsheet, and apply: you see every change before it is written, each apply is one batch with its own Undo, and every export keeps a snapshot of the fields it carried.
The loop
Export, edit, apply, undo.
Export
Connect Google once (the app sees only the files it creates), choose what and which fields, press Export. The sheet appears in your Drive in a few seconds.
Edit
Open it in Google Sheets or right in the app. Change prices with a formula, rewrite titles, set statuses, fill tags down. Leave a cell blank to leave the field alone.
Apply
Press Apply in the app: read the preview, tick the red marks you accept, confirm. The batch is written to Shopify and the sheet gets its _status column.
Undo
Not what you meant? Undo on the card in the app or in your chat puts the written values back after its own preview. Or go back to the snapshot taken at the export.
What it does
A spreadsheet for the editing, the app for the safety.
A sheet the app builds for you
Pick what to export (the whole catalog, a collection, a vendor, a tag, a status or a search) and which fields: prices, texts and SEO, organisation, variants, metafields or your own list. The app creates a Google Sheet in your Drive with one row per product or per variant, a header with the field keys and a grey hint row under it.
Edit the way you already do
Filters, sorting, find and replace, fill down and formulas all work: a cell with =D2*0.9 is applied as the number it shows. Share the sheet with a colleague through Google, and they edit the catalog without an admin seat. A blank cell means no change; the word CLEAR empties a text field.
A preview before anything is written
Apply reads the sheet again and shows what will change: 140 prices in 96 products, 12 descriptions, 3 statuses, the rows that will be skipped and why, and the products that were changed in Shopify since the export. Nothing is written until you confirm.
Red and yellow marks on risky edits
A price of 0, a big drop, a compare-at price below the price, an empty description: marked in the preview. A red mark needs a tick before it is applied; a yellow one is a note.
Every apply has an Undo
An apply is one batch, put back in one click from the app or from the chat card: a preview shows every value that will return. A value changed in Shopify since the apply is left alone and listed. The result, row by row, is written to a _status column of the sheet.
A snapshot at every export
Each export keeps the fields it carried for every row, under a name with the date. After several applies, Back to before this sheet puts the products back to how they were before the first edit, with a preview. Take a snapshot now makes one by hand.
Stock, images and category in edit sheets
On Pro and Business, Stock & media exports stock by location (Set the number or Add to stock), image alt text and order, and the product category into edit sheets. They are written as you typed them, after a preview, and listed in History; these sheets have no Undo by design.
Is it for you?
We would rather you know now than after a month.
Works best for
- Stores that change prices, titles, statuses or tags in bulk and already think in spreadsheets.
- Teams where a colleague without an admin seat prepares the changes and someone with access applies them.
- Anyone who wants to see every change before it is written and to be able to take it back.
Not a good fit
- Creating or deleting products and variants: the app edits what exists.
- Cost, collections, translations or variant metafields in this version; stock, images and the category go through edit sheets, without Undo.
- Automatic sync from Shopify to the sheet: an export is a moment in time, and you export again when you need a fresh one.
The app writes only the fields you apply, through Shopify's API, after your confirmation. Read the full privacy policy.

Questions
What can the app see in my Google Drive?
Only the files it created. It asks Google for the drive.file permission, which does not allow reading anything else in your Drive: not your other sheets, not your documents. Your sheets stay in your Drive and are yours; disconnecting Google deletes the stored token and the sheets remain where they are.
Do formulas work?
Yes. The app reads the values the cells show, so =D2*0.9 or a ROUND(…) applies as the number it gives. Filters, sorting, fill down and find and replace work as in any sheet.
What does a blank cell do?
Nothing: a blank cell means no change, and a row with every editable cell blank is ignored. To empty a text field write the word CLEAR in the cell. A price cannot be cleared.
What does Undo cover?
Every value the apply wrote: prices, texts, statuses, tags and the other exported fields. A value that was changed in Shopify after the apply is left as it is and listed in the preview. Products created or deleted outside the app are not touched, and the app never creates or deletes products itself.
What is the 24-hour preview?
The preview of an apply or an undo stays open for 24 hours. After that it is read again from your store before anything is written, so a stale picture is not applied. Nothing is written without your confirmation.
What are the red marks?
Checks on risky values in the preview: a price of 0, a big drop, a compare-at price below the price, an empty description. Red marks need a tick (apply anyway) before the batch runs; yellow marks are notes.
Can I use a CSV instead of Google?
Yes, on Pro and Business: download the CSV template from Export, edit it in Excel or Numbers, upload it. It goes through the same preview, the same apply and the same Undo.
What does each plan include?
See the plan table above. Free is for trying the loop on 100 rows; moving down a plan deletes nothing.
