Terms of Service

The service
njX Price Rollback & Snapshots (“the app”) is provided by njX (“we”). It keeps a log of your products’ prices, compare-at prices and status, lets you put those values back to a moment you choose, and delivers alerts and a daily digest to the channels you add. By installing the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
What a restore is, and is not
- A restore writes to your store only what you confirmed in a preview, or what a timer you set points at, and only a variant’s price, a variant’s compare-at price and a product’s status. It never creates or deletes a product or a variant.
- The preview shows the values the app read at that moment. Every value is read again right before it is written; a value that moved since the preview is left alone and reported. A preview expires after 30 minutes.
- The app remembers what Shopify showed it from the moment of install. A change Shopify did not report, or one made while the app was uninstalled or before it was installed, is not in the log and cannot be restored. History is kept within your plan’s window and for no more than a year.
- You are responsible for what you restore: the app puts back the values that were there at the moment you chose, whether or not those values were right. Check the preview. Every restore has an Undo.
- Restores and alerts depend on Shopify’s API and webhooks and on Telegram, Slack, Discord or e-mail. We retry failed writes and deliveries and read the whole catalogue again every night, but we cannot promise that every change is captured, that every restore completes, or that every alert arrives, and we are not liable for revenue lost to a wrong price.
Your account and your data
- You must have the right to install apps on the store, to change its prices, and to share them with the channels you connect.
- You remain the controller of your data. We act as your processor: we process it only to provide the app to you. The app has no access to orders or customers.
- Your prices are not sold, not shared, and not used to train models or to build any market or competitor analysis.
- We process data on Cloudflare (hosting and e-mail) and deliver messages through Telegram, Slack and Discord when you connect them, each under its own terms.
- Uninstalling the app deletes everything we hold about your store and writes nothing to it.
- We keep the app secure as described in the privacy policy and notify you within 72 hours of confirming a security incident that affects your data.
Plans and billing
Plans are billed by Shopify under the Shopify App Store terms and appear on your Shopify invoice. Pro and Business start with a free trial and can be paid monthly or yearly. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the Shopify admin at any time; the Free plan has no time limit. Downgrading deletes nothing: your history stays for a year, timers pause until the plan is back, and the plan decides how far back you can look and how much you can put back at once.
Acceptable use
Add only channels whose members should see your prices, do not use the app to circumvent Shopify’s, Telegram’s, Slack’s or Discord’s terms, and do not try to extract or change other stores’ data. We may suspend an installation that abuses the service or Shopify’s API.
Availability and liability
The app is provided as is. We aim for continuous operation but depend on Shopify, Cloudflare, Telegram, Slack and Discord; a delayed or missed alert, or a restore that could not complete, does not create liability beyond the fees you paid us for the current billing period.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app or by e-mail. Questions: [email protected].
